Zürich - Lucerne - Grindelwald - We leave Zurich at 8.00 a.m.. A short drive takes us to the city of Lucerne where we walk over the 14th century wooden bridge, time at leisure and shopping. At noon we cross Bruenig Pass and reach the Bernese Oberland. In the village Brienz you will see the woodcarvers at work and will visit the woodcarver factory JOBIN. Scenic drive along deep blue Lake Brienz to the holiday-resort of Interlaken at foot of Jungfrau mountain.

Gstaad. A steep downhill road brings you along ringing cowbells through old farmers villages to the city Gruyère in the french speaking part of Switzerland. Passing by green farmland and wineyards we reach Lake Geneva. We visit the Chillon Castle, the 13th century fortress made famous by Lord Byron's poem. A scenic drive takes you through the region Valais, the valley of the river Rhone with its orchards and wineyards. At Taesch we will board a cogwheel train that takes us to the mountain-resort of Zermatt at the foot of mighty Matterhorn. Overnight in a luxury 4-star hotel/5-course dinner included.
