Day 1
La Paz - Tiawanaco - Huatajata - Begin the morning with an overland transfer for a half day visit of the Tiwanaku Ruins, considered to be the "Cradle of American Civilizations". Later take an overland transfer to Huatajata. Arrive at Huatajata to experience the Andean Roots Eco Village. Visit the Altiplano Museum, where a state of the art audio system will explain in your own
language the cultural heritage of the Aymaras and the Incas. Enjoy artisans making ceramics, masks, native sandals and the bowler Indiand hats; the Urus-Chipayas Mud Igloos; meet the Limachi brothers, builders of the RA II and Tigris for Thor Heyerdhal epic expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean. Spend some time at the Kallawaya Natural Spa where we use thousand years' old methods and treatments for stress, well-being, and cosmetology. Audiovisual and night visit to "The Mystic World of the Kallawayas", natural healers of Bolivia authorized by law to practice natural medicine. They believe that you first have to heal the soul in order to heal your body. "Tata Benjo", (our Kallawaya) will bless visitors and answer questions by casting his sacred coca leaves. Day 2
Copacabana - Isla Del Sol - Urus - Huatajata - Hydrofoil cruise to Copacabana. Visit the local market and Shrine. Then board the Hydrofoil for a cruise to Moon Island, visit the Sun Virgins Temple Iņak Uyu. Visit the Inca Staircase & Sacred fountain, taste the sacred water believed to give eternal youth & happiness. Have lunch at "Uma Kollu" archaeological restaurant and visit a picturesque handicraft market. Hydrofoil cruise to URUS-IRUITOS floating islands & Quewaya Sustainable Project, a rescue of an over 5.000
years old culture and a social project created to assure their survival. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Royal Range of the Andes. Night visit to the Native Observatory "Alajpacha"; learn from the Aymaras cosmovision & Southern constellations, just unforgettable. Overnight at "Inca Utama Hotel & Spa. (B,L)
